Dermol Scalp Application general information
What is Dermol Scalp Application used for?
Dermol Scalp Application 0.05% is a topical treatment used to treat moderate to severe inflammatory skin conditions of the scalp, such as psoriasis and eczema, particularly recalcitrant eczema (difficult to manage). Dermol Scalp Application reduces inflammation and relieves symptoms such as itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling and discomfort.
How does Dermol Scalp Application work?
Dermol Scalp Application contains corticosteroid clobetasol propionate 0.05% that is a very potent topical anti-inflammatory steroid. Clobetasol works by blocking the production of hormone-like chemicals called prostaglandins, which are produced in response to inflammation and cause the symptoms of inflammation. Dermol Scalp Application is particularly helpful for inflammatory skin conditions such as recalcitrant eczema (difficult to manage) of the scalp that do not respond satisfactorily to less active steroids.
